Healthy churches require healthy oversight of them. We are here to help strengthen the Church of today by examining the ancient Church’s teachings on and examples of leadership that they left for us to follow. We highly value what both Scripture and history has to say about the qualifications, duties, and limits of church governance. It is our hope to see local churches govern themselves by way of appointing and upholding godly overseers, and avoid the destructive patterns of ungodly overdoers, overlords, and overrulers.
